WHAT IS THE DIFFERENECE BETWEEN “THE SPICE” AND “tvDune” ?
The Spice is our INTERNTIONAL server, it features content from almost every country in the world, including VOD content. Its a solid choice from people that are looking for more than just North American and English content. the tvGuide (EPG) is not as detailed and is currently in development for most countries.
tvDUNE server is primarily tailored to North American and English speaking countries. Though it has International content, we do not manage it as much as the spice. the tvGuide (EPG) on tvDune is very accurate and rich… This is our primary server and rceives the most updates.
Current members can receive a trial of either server to test out the difference.
CAN I RUN BOTH SERVERS ?
YES. Our app has the ability to run both servers, but do you really need to? In the event of a a serious outage, you will be emailed bu support with credentials to the ONLINE server.
WHY tvDUNE ?
We prive ourselves on being CANADIAN and offereing outstanding support from start to finish. Unline other providers that just sell you a subscriotion and leave you to do the rest. tvDune will be there to help you and asnwer all your questions.
WHAT IS IPTV ?
Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) uses Internet technology to send television programming to your TV. IPTV uses a broadband Internet connection for top international programming directly to your home without a satellite dish. Just connect your receiver to your IPTV Internet from the house and on your TV, then sit back and enjoy.
WHAT DO I NEED TO USE IPTV ?
To install and use IPTV, you need the following: a reliable High-speed Internet connection of at least 50 Mbps. A hardware receiver like an Amazon Firestick, Formuler, Buzz Tv, Nvidia Shield amongst others.
HOW DO I CHECK MY INTERNET SPEED & QUALITY ?
Please use speed test server below to test your internet connection, you need good speed and latency. Latency is the volume of signal you’re connection can carry, the lower the better. Combined with internet speed this will provide you with a clear picture of how well your internet. A stable 70 Mbps is the minimum requirement. http://www.speedtest.net/
WHY AM I NOT RECEIVEING SERVICE?
First, please check your network connection, reboot your router and device, and then try again. Secondly, if your network connection is no problem, please check whether your account is used on other devices as you can’t view from more than the number of devices your subscription allows. Also make sure that all connections are on the same network.
I AM NOT IN CANADA OR THE USA. CAN I STILL SUBSCRIBE ?
Yes. Our service is available worldwide to everyone.
MY CHANNELS ARE NOT WORKING/BUFFERING
We strive to provide you with a high level of service at very discounted rates. So please keep this in mind first and foremost.
If a channel is down, we will do our best to restore that back to service.
Please use the guidelines below before contacting SUPPORT:
* Stop and give it a couple of minutes. We reboot and swap channels when needed. The channel may be coming back.
* Is this happening on all channels? If it is, you need to check on your end.
* Reboot your device and wait for 30 secs before turning them back on.
* Check your internet speed, it should be above 70Mbps.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU EXPERIENCE BUFFERING ON CHANNELS ?
Those days should be over… We have tested our servevrs on minimal internet connections and they run. We have discovered that if your internet is limited or capped (lets say you exceeded your data allowance) using a VPN such as SURFSHARK will provide you with regular service.
DOES THE SERVICE EVER BLACKOUT?
Our uptime is 99.4%, were always working away to make improvements to our services for you.
